Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi - Ngoi Hoa Bay - Dragon Eye Lake - Ngòi Hoa Village

12:30 Meet the tour guide at the pick-up point and board the vehicle to go to Hoa Binh.

14:30 Arrive at Ngòi Hoa port, where we will board the boat to head to Dragon Eye Lake. A 20-minute walk to Dragon Eye Lake, a secluded lake surrounded by mountains. Depending on the water level, the lake's area fluctuates significantly. When the water level is low, many dead tree trunks are exposed, creating a surreal atmosphere reminiscent of the "Cup of Love," which is very captivating. It's no exaggeration to say that you'll spend a lot of time taking photos here due to the exceptionally beautiful and "dead corner-free" natural scenery.

16:30 After leisurely swimming here, we will walk back to the boat to return to Ngòi Hoa village. Our homestay tonight is a simple but clean and fully equipped stilt house.

18:00 Dinner at the homestay. After a delicious meal featuring traditional dishes of the Muong people, we will relax by the campfire, listen to music, and enjoy cold drinks until bedtime.

*Meals included: Dinner

*Shared tour departs on Saturday afternoons. If you wish to book a private tour, please contact Umove Adventure's specialists.

Paddling along the cliffs, we will venture deeper into Ngòi Hoa Bay. As we proceed, the lake narrows, flanked by towering cliffs, creating a majestic landscape. Along this route, we will stop several times for photo opportunities and to swim in the cool waters of Hoa Binh Lake.

11:00 Return to the homestay for showering and lunch.

2. Kayaking & SUP Paddling Notes:

During the tour, on the first day, we will commence paddling from Thung Nai to Vach Da Trang in Ngoi Hoa, covering a distance of 4km. On the second day, we will paddle approximately 6km in Hoa Ngoi Bay. Depending on the season, we may paddle in the same or opposite direction of the wind.

Before paddling, the tour guide will provide instructions on kayaking techniques and safety precautions, including the timeline. Participants are required to wear a life jacket and leash. Those with limited experience in SUP paddling should avoid standing upright on the SUP board from the beginning. After covering around 1-2km and gaining confidence, participants can transition to standing paddling.

During paddling, participants should steer clear of obstacles such as branches and rocks, staying close to the shore and remaining vigilant of passing vessels. A support boat will accompany us throughout the paddling period. If participants wish to cease paddling and utilize the support boat, please inform the tour guide.

Strong swimmers proficient in paddling may choose to remove their life jackets and attach them to the SUP, but leg straps should remain intact.

If the itinerary includes Mat Rong Lake, a 20-25 minute hike along a mountain path is required. Although not challenging, participants must wear appropriate footwear such as sports shoes or sandals (flip-flops are not permitted).

3. Homestay:

Accommodation will be provided in a traditional stilt house belonging to a Muong family in Ngoi Hoa Village. Each participant will have a private mattress, blanket, and mosquito net.
