Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi - Da Bac

07:00: Welcome the customers at 53 Nguyen Dinh Thi. Go to Da Bac. Along the way, we stop at a coffee shop in Hoa Binh. Reach Hien Luong, and Da Bac, check in a room at Pacific House, and have lunch. After resting, we will be sharing the kayak paddling techniques, as well as the safety guidelines, and then begin to paddle to discover Hien Luong Bay. For those who do not paddle, you could get on a traveling boat to see a lake. We have the right to paddle and swim at the lake, and after that come back to Pacific House to have dinner. After dinner, the local people have a cultural performance and bamboo dance to show the group. Stay the night at a homestay.

*The cultural performance is only organized for a group of 10 people and above.

Day 2: Da Bac - Ha Noi

08:00: Breakfast at Pacific House. The next morning, we have a trek to the village, heading to a stream in the forest. We have free to swim and have fun in the stream. Afterward, come back to Pacific House to have lunch. After lunchtime, get on the bus to come back to Ha Noi. Finish the tour in Ha Noi.

Difficulty of the activity

Difficulty Level (1-4/10): Most people can participate in the tour, including children. The activities are at the easy level; hence, we do not need physical preparation or experience. The duration of each trip is from 1-2 days generally. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 1 – 2 hours/day to do the trek with the relatively easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and rest as well.

The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour.   1.     Kayaking & SUP paddling Notes.
  • We will paddle in a narrow bay in front of the homestay. The distance and the duration of paddling are depended on the decision of the tour guide, they will make the decision based on the weather and the health of the customers.
  • Before paddling, the tour guide will instruct us on the kayaking techniques and safety notes along with the timeline. You need to wear a life jacket all the time paddling.
  • When paddling, you need to avoid places with obstacles like branches, and rocks. Do not separate from the group or paddle out of the boundary. 
  • We will have the boat accompany us during the paddling period. In case, you want to stop paddling to use the boat, please inform the tour guide.
  1. Food and drink
  • Lunch is served at the homestay. A meal is a variety of food and local food of Muong people such as grilled fish, pork, or steamed vegetables. If you are on a diet or vegetarian, you need to inform Umove Adventure’s organizing department to prepare appropriate food for you.
  • In case, you have a special need for food that we cannot meet your need (cause of health, medical, religion, …) We highly recommend you prepare your own food.
  • Drinking water is supplied on a bus and a paddling time. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we recommend that you bring a water bottle (reusable type) to refill water from the large drum provided by us.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed during  SUP, kayak, or trek. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are not included in the meals.
  1.   Protecting the environment together 
  • Umove Adventure supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply the Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace session here
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination.
  1.     Medical alert
  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should visit your doctor before deciding to join the trip. A basic first-aid bag will be carried by the tour guide. If you have health problems that require preventive medicine, please prepare for your own.
  • In any case, if you swim, you have to wear a life jacket.
