Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi - Vua Ba Mountain - Dao Hoa Island Glamping

07:30: Get on a bus to Thach That. After 45 minutes of traveling, we will reach Dao Hoa Island Glamping where we will get stuff ready to start our trekking trip to Vua Ba Summit.

08:45: Start to trek to get to Vua Ba Summit, with a height of 1050m. There are many parts quite steep but not long distances, and interlaced to low peaks with flat terrain. From 700m of elevation and above, the temperature is significantly lower than at the bottom of the mountain.

11:15: Reach to the top of the mountain, take photos, and enjoy the view 360 degrees at one side is Hoa Binh, another one is Ha Noi. On the blue-sky days, we could see Hoa Binh Lake. Having lunch on the top, and resting before getting down to the bottom of the mountain.

13:00: Trek back to Dao Hoa Island Glamping. In summer, we can swim at Ngoc Stream on the way back.

16:00: Back to Glamorous campsite. We can do SUP paddling, and swim at the lake or the swimming pool at Glamping.

16:30: BBQ is the dinner which happens at a beautiful natural background in the glamping area. After dinner, we will have time to relax going along with the chilling music around the campfire. Sleep in the tents (Air Conditioner is available during summertime) or on the floor.

Day 2: Dao Hoa Island - Ha Noi

07:30: Breakfast at the glamorous campsite. After having breakfast and drinking coffee with the nice scene of sunrise, and then we will learn the SUP paddling technique. After the theory on the shore, we will get to the lake to paddle and spend our time practicing and relaxing with the SUP.

10:30: Shower, change clothes and check out

11:30: Have lunch at Dao Hoa Island Glamping

13:30: Get on a bus to back to Ha Noi, 14:30 is the time for finishing the tour.

Exploration Level (5/10): Most people can participate in the tour, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is generally 2 days. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day to do the trek with the relatively easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and rest as well.

Suggested physical training: Practice running or kayaking/SUP 1 - 2 weeks in advance. Run twice a week, each session 3 - 5km every night. Or paddling from 2- 3 times, each time is 5 km.

● Umove Adventure uses service from Bảo Việt Insurance with a maximum insurance payout of 100 million VND/person/case.

3. Reading and signing the exclude all liability before departing

● The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour. 4. Notes for trekking route

● The trek to the mountain summit is not too difficult, with an easily navigable trail, but many sections are quite steep, ranging continuously from about 100m to 200m.  

● In the summer, the temperature at the foot of the mountain can be quite high, but above an altitude of 700m, the temperature drops significantly, and there are often clouds and fog at the summit.  

● Since the path is dirt and has a considerable incline, if it rains before the Umove Adventure trip, alternative routes or activities will be arranged. Postponing or canceling the trekking activity may also be implemented depending on the weather.

5. Equipment

● Participants must carefully read the Gear List recommended by Umove Adventure to prepare well for the trip.  

Umove Adventure recommends that you carry a backpack weighing no more than 2kg when hiking. Preparing a backpack with a capacity of 10L to carry water, food, and a few personal items. Clothes to change into after the trek and SUP will be left at the glamping site before heading up the mountain.

6. Food/Drinks

● The picnic meal on the mountain will consist of basic foods such as sandwich-style bread or sticky rice with savory dishes, along with fruit for dessert.  

● Drinking water will be provided on the vehicle and during the trek. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we suggest you bring a reusable water bottle to refill from the large containers we provide.

7. Protecting the environment together

● Umove Adventure supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây

● In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.

● On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

8. Medical assistance

● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 

● In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.

1. What age do children need to be to join this tour?

Children from 6 years old can participate in this tour if accompanied by their parents or adults.

 

2. How much do I need to pay as a deposit when registering? When will the remaining amount be paid?

When registering for the tour, customers are required to pay a 50% deposit via bank transfer or by card through Onepay. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than one day before the departure date, also via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay.

UA will not confirm the booking until the tour deposit is received.

 

3. Can I postpone/cancel the tour before the departure date?

Depending on how far in advance you postpone or cancel relative to the departure date, you may incur a fee. If you want to change the departure date or switch to another tour, Umove Adventure will transfer the departure date for you and may charge a fee (or not). Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.

 

4. If I am vegetarian (or have dietary restrictions), will the tour accommodate this?

You will need to inform Umove Adventure about your vegetarian or dietary requirements before booking the tour. We will check if the destination can accommodate those needs and will notify you accordingly. Generally, Umove Adventure will have vegetarian options available for customers depending on the location of the tour.

 

5. What camping equipment will Umove Adventure provide on this tour?

6. Can I bring my pet (dog/cat) along?

Umove Adventure does not organize tours specifically for customers bringing pets, so bringing a pet will depend on the agreement of the other passengers on the tour. If you wish to bring your pet on the tour, Umove Adventure will ask for the consent of everyone on the tour, and you will be fully responsible for ensuring cleanliness and the safety of the pet.

 

7. Can I participate if I don’t know how to swim?

You can still participate even if you don’t know how to swim, provided that you strictly adhere to the safety instructions of the guide. 100% of those paddling on the SUP who wish to swim must wear a life jacket and a safety leash.
