Adventure Levels at Umove Adventure
Umove Adventure classifies outdoor and adventure activities into 4 levels: Experience, Exploration, Challenge, and Adventure.
The difficulty rating for outdoor activities in each tour is relative only. It is based on common international standards and real conditions in Vietnam, helping customers identify which tour best matches their fitness level, experience, and expectations.
Since there are many different outdoor activities, Umove Adventure cannot provide detailed descriptions for every one. We focus on the most common activities: trekking and kayaking/SUP.
Level Experience (1-4/10) Suitable for everyone, including children. Activities are gentle and require no prior fitness preparation or experience. Tours typically last 1–2 days.
- Trekking: 1–2 hours/day on easy terrain.
- Kayaking/SUP: 1–2 hours/day with plenty of stops for photos and rest.
Level Exploration (5-6/10) Most people can participate; children aged 6+ can join when accompanied by parents. Light physical preparation will make the experience easier and more comfortable. Tours usually last 2 days.
- Trekking: 2–3 hours/day on relatively easy terrain.
- Kayaking/SUP: 2–3 hours/day on large water surfaces or gentle currents, with ample time for photos and breaks.
Level Challenge (7-8/10) Requires good fitness and solid outdoor experience. Generally not suitable for children. Tours last 2–4 days with basic food and accommodation, mainly camping.
- Trekking: Up to 5–6 hours/day on difficult terrain with steep hills and significant elevation.
- Kayaking/SUP: Up to 6–7 hours/day.
Level Adventure (9-10/10) The highest level of adventure. Only for participants with excellent fitness, extensive outdoor experience, and strong determination. These are often exploratory tours to new or highly challenging and wild locations. Participants must handle tasks like setting up tents and cooking. Thorough personal gear and physical preparation are required.
