4. Notes on the SUP/Kayak Route
● We will start paddling from Thung Nai to White Cliff at Ngoi Hoa, covering a distance of 4 km. Depending on the time of year, we may paddle with the wind or slightly against it. Before we begin, the guide will instruct on how to paddle and safety precautions regarding the route. You need to wear life jackets and properly attach the leg leash. For first-time SUP paddlers, it's advisable not to stand on the SUP from the starting point. After about 1 to 2 km, if you feel comfortable and confident in the water, you may start to stand up and paddle.
● While paddling on the lake, paying attention to avoid obstacles such as branches, rocks, etc. Paddling close to the shore and being mindful of motorboats navigating on the lake. We will have a motorboat escorting us throughout the paddling. If you want to use the paddle to maneuver the boat, please inform the guide.
● If you can swim and have significant paddling experience, you may remove your life jacket and tie it to the SUP, but you must not remove the leg leash.
● In the case of entering Hồ Mắt Rồng, we will walk for about 20-25 minutes along a small trail in the mountains. The path is not difficult, but you need to wear sports shoes or sports sandals (flip-flops are not allowed).
