  1.     Kayaking & SUP paddling Notes.
  • We will start to paddle from Thung Nai to Vach Da Trang in Ngoi Hoa, a distance is 4km. Depending on the time of year, we can paddle either the same or the opposite of the wind direction.
  • Before paddling, the tour guide will instruct us on the kayaking techniques and safety notes along with the timeline. You need to wear a life jacket and a leash, for those who have first experience in SUP paddling should not stand right on the SUP from the starting point. After starting around 1 km - 2 km, when you feel more confident with the water, you can start standing to paddle.
  • When paddling, you need to avoid places with obstacles like branches, and rocks. Paddle close to the shore and keep an eye on the ship that is moving on the lake.
  • We will have the boat accompany us during the paddling period. In case, you want to stop paddling to use the boat, please inform the tour guide.
  •  If you can swim and are good at paddling, you can take off your life jacket and tie it on SUP but do not remove the leg straps totally.
  • If we go to Mat Rong Lake, we will hike for around 20-25 minutes following a small path in the mountain. The trail is not difficult but we have to wear sports shoes or sports sandals (flip-flops are not allowed).
  1. Food and drink
  • Lunch is served on a boat (or homestay). A meal is a variety of food and local food of Muong people such as grilled fish, pork, or steamed vegetables. If you are on a diet or vegetarian, you need to inform Umove Adventure’s organizing department to prepare appropriate food for you.
