Tour at the Discovery level (5/10): Most people can participate, including children from about 6 years old and up accompanied by their parents. Light physical preparation will make experiencing the outdoor activities on the tour easier and more comfortable. The tour usually lasts 2 days. Trekking tours at this level involve trekking for about 2-3 hours/day on relatively easy terrain. Kayaking or SUP tours at this level involve paddling for 2-3 hours/day in areas with large bodies of water or currents, with plenty of time to stop for photos and rest.

Recommended physical preparation: Start running or kayaking/SUP training 1-2 weeks beforehand. Run twice a week, 3-5km each time. Or paddle SUP/kayaking 2-3 times a week, 5km each time.

3. Reading and signing the exclude all liability before departing

● The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour. Hence the customer is asked to read and sign the Exclude all Liability form before departing. Find the form below and read it carefully.

4. Notes on the SUP Paddling Route:

• Before boarding, you will receive theoretical instruction including techniques, equipment usage, and safety guidelines.
• Please wear a life jacket and leash.
• While paddling, be careful to avoid obstacles such as branches and rocks. Stay close to the shore and always be aware of motorboats on the river.
• Strictly follow the instructions of the guide.

5. Drinks & Snacks:

• Drinks will be provided on the vehicle and while paddling. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we suggest you bring your own reusable water bottle to fill from the large bottle we provide.
• Snacks include cold drinks, fruit, and biscuits. If you have a diet or special dietary requirements, please prepare your own snacks.

6. Working Together to Protect the Environment:

• Umove Adventure supports and applies the Leave No Trace principles in its outdoor tour programs and activities. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply the Leave No Trace principles when traveling outdoors. See details about Leave No Trace here.
• To reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles, Umove Adventure recommends that each traveler prepare a 1L water bottle to refill daily.
• During the tour, travelers must comply with environmental protection guidelines and regulations at the destination.

7. Safety & Health Warnings:

If you have cardiovascular disease or musculoskeletal problems (knee, ankle, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to participate in the trip. The tour guide will carry a basic first-aid kit. If you have any health problems requiring medication, you should bring your own medication. In all cases, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
