Q&A
What is the best time of year to join this tour?

This tour can be operated year-round, with each season offering a different experience.

The drier months, particularly from October to April, generally offer cooler temperatures and more comfortable trekking conditions. From May to September, the forest is especially lush and the streams and small waterfalls usually carry more water, making the Ngoc Hoa Stream section particularly scenic.

However, this period also coincides with the rainy season, when trails may become slippery and stream levels can rise after heavy rainfall. In such conditions, the trekking route or itinerary may be adjusted for safety.

What is the minimum age for children to join this tour?

This tour is suitable for children aged 6 and above. The trekking route is relatively short and moderate, making it suitable for families with children who are comfortable with outdoor activities and walking on natural forest trails.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult and should always follow the instructions of the tour guide and national park ranger.

Can I join this tour as a solo traveller?

Yes. Solo travellers are welcome to join this tour. However, this is a join-in tour and requires a minimum number of participants to operate. Umove Adventure will confirm the departure status in advance. If the minimum group size is not reached, you may choose to reschedule to another available departure or request a refund.

How much deposit is required, and when do I pay the remaining balance?

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount and payment deadline will be provided at the time of booking, depending on the departure date and group arrangements.

The remaining balance must be paid before the tour departure, according to the payment schedule stated in your booking confirmation.

Can I postpone or cancel my booking before departure?

Yes. You may request to postpone or cancel your booking before the departure date. Any applicable fees or refunds will depend on how far in advance the request is made and the terms stated in Umove Adventure’s Postponement & Cancellation Policy.

We recommend informing us as early as possible if your plans change. Please refer to the Postponement & Cancellation Policy for full details.

Can vegetarian meals be provided?

Yes. Vegetarian meals and other special dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request. Please inform Umove Adventure of your dietary requirements or food allergies when completing the customer information form so that we can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

Can I bring my pet on the tour?

No. Pets, including dogs and cats, are not permitted on this tour. The trekking route passes through protected forest areas within Ba Vi National Park, and bringing pets may disturb local wildlife and the natural environment.
