Moc Chau is beautiful in every season. Almost every time of the year, Moc Chau has its own unique charm. Peach blossom season is around the Lunar New Year. Plum blossom season and rose season are around February and March. Plum season is in May and June. Mustard flower season lasts from October to December.

However, the special tour program is only organized during plum blossom season in Moc Chau and is limited to about 8-10 tours in February and March when plum blossoms are at their most beautiful. Itinerary
1st day: Ha Noi – Moc Chau – Na Ka – Phieng Canh

06:30 - Gathering at the pickup point and boarding the bus to Hoa Binh. Stopping at Thung Khe for taking photos and admiring the majestic mountain scenery of Hoa Binh. Going to Moc Chau.

11:30 - Arriving in Moc Chau; guests will have lunch at a local restaurant.

12:30 - After lunch, we will travel from the town center to Na Ka which is the place that has the most nice-looking plum gardens in Moc Chau Highland. This afternoon, we will walk along the valley to admire the plum blossoms and take stunning photos in the beautiful plum blossom valley. After enjoying the photo session, we will walk to Phieng Canh, another area with many beautiful plum orchards in Moc Chau. Our camping site is set up beautifully in a plum orchard.

19:00 - Having a BBQ dinner and staying overnight at the campsite.

2nd day: Phieng Canh – Tau Cave - Ha Noi

07:00 - Having breakfast at the campsite. After breakfast, we will begin our hike to Tau Cave, also known as the Original Village, a remote H'mong village cut off from the outside world. This area has no electricity, phone, or internet. The Original Village is incredibly pristine and peaceful, making it a perfect backdrop for stunning photographs. After resting, taking photos, and having lunch at Tau Cave, we will walk to the pickup point to return to Hanoi. The tour ends upon arrival in Hanoi.

Difficulty Level (5/10): Most people can participate, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is generally 2 days. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day to do the trek with the relatively easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and rest as well.

    4. Note on the Trek Route

    ● The first day's walk is approximately 6 km, and the second day is about 4 km. The path is not difficult and does not have many steep slopes, but you should wear sports shoes or sports sandals (do not wear flip-flops or slippers). 

    ● When trekking, only bring a small backpack containing no more than 2 kg of items.

    5. Camping

    ● The campsite is located in a beautiful plum garden. The sleeping tents and the central tent are arranged among the plum trees. Inside the tents, there are air mattresses and sleeping bags. The dining area is equipped with tables, chairs, and lighting. 

    ● The owner’s restroom is located near the campsite.

    6. Protecting the environment together

    ● In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.

    ● On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

    7. Medical assistance

    ● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.

    This is an outing with a difficulty level of 5/10, so it's suitable for most people, including those who don’t have much trekking experience or have never trekked before."

     

    4. Can I join the tour if I'm traveling alone?

    This is a group tour, so you can join alone. However, the minimum number of participants for the tour to start is 5. If the minimum number isn't met, UA will notify you one week in advance so you can either reschedule or get a refund.

     

    5. How much deposit do I need to make when booking? When is the remaining payment due?

    When booking, customers need to deposit 50% of the total amount via bank transfer or card payment through Onepay. The remaining 50% should be paid no later than one day before the departure, also via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay.

    UA will not confirm the booking until the deposit is received.

     

    6. Can I postpone/cancel the tour before the departure date?

    Depending on how far in advance you postpone or cancel the tour compared to the departure date, there may be a fee. If you want to reschedule the departure date or switch to a different tour, Umove Adventure will transfer your booking and may or may not charge a fee. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for more details.

     

    7. If I'm vegetarian (or have specific dietary restrictions), can the tour accommodate that?

    You need to inform Umove Adventure of your dietary requirements when booking, and we will check whether the destination can meet those needs and let you know. Generally, Umove Adventure offers vegetarian options depending on the tour's location.

     

    8. What camping gear will Umove Adventure provide on this tour?

    9. Can I bring my pet (dog/cat) along?

    Umove Adventure does not offer specific tours for guests with pets, so bringing a pet depends on the agreement of other passengers on the tour. If you want to bring your pet, Umove Adventure will ask for the consent of the group, and you will be fully responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring your pet's safety.
