Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong – Cycling to Bong

06:30 Arrive at the designated pick-up point and board our comfortable transfer vehicle to Ninh Binh. We recommend having a quick breakfast beforehand or packing something light to enjoy during the ride or at a rest stop along the way.

09:30 Welcome to Cuc Phuong National Park! Upon arrival, you will be geared up with your bicycle, fresh drinking water, and all the necessary equipment for our ride to Bong Center. Before hitting the trail, your expert guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing, share essential cycling tips, and personally assist you in custom-fitting your bike for maximum comfort.

10:30 Kick off your adventure by cycling along an 18km route widely considered to be Vietnam's most breathtaking forest road. If you are traveling during Cuc Phuong's famous butterfly season, this path transforms into a magical corridor where thousands of butterflies flutter alongside you. We break the ride into two scenic stages. The first 7km stretch from the park gates to the Cave of Prehistoric Man (Dong Nguoi Xua) is delightfully flat with just a few gentle inclines. Once we reach the cave, we’ll take a well-deserved break and enjoy a beautifully arranged picnic lunch amidst nature.

13:00 After lunch, take some time to explore the fascinating Cave of Prehistoric Man. Then, hop back on your bike to conquer the second leg of our journey—a 10km stretch featuring two slightly steeper, yet entirely manageable, slopes. We will make plenty of stops along the way to hydrate and soak in the tranquil jungle atmosphere.

16:30 Arrive at Bong Center, our home for the night. We will work together as a group to set up our tents. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy—feel free to take a refreshing shower, relax at the campsite, or stroll along the short, picturesque walking trails surrounding Bong.

18:30 Enjoy a hearty, delicious dinner at a local restaurant in Bong.

19:30 As night falls, if you are visiting during firefly season, we will take a magical walk around the campsite to witness the mesmerizing "planet of fireflies"—a true natural highlight of Northern Vietnam. Afterward, we will gather around the crackling campfire to relax, swap stories, and socialize under the jungle canopy.

22:00 Retire to your tent for a peaceful night's sleep in the heart of the national park.

*Included meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Cuc Phuong – Trekking – Hanoi

07:00 Wake up refreshed to the soothing symphony of birdsong and buzzing insects. Head over to the restaurant in Bong to fuel up for the day with a full breakfast, accompanied by steaming hot coffee or tea.

08:00 After breaking down the camp, we will transfer to our trek's starting point. Here, we will be joined by an experienced National Park ranger who will brief us before we embark on an 8km trek through the dense, untouched primeval forest via the Ancient Dang Tree trail. This is a moderately challenging hike that winds through an ancient woodland dominated by centuries-old giants. The absolute highlight of the trail is encountering the magnificent 500-year-old Dang tree, renowned for its colossal trunk and awe-inspiring root system.

11:30 Conclude our jungle trekking adventure. We will walk out to the main road where our vehicle will be waiting to pick us up for our departure from Cuc Phuong National Park.

13:00 Sit down for a final, satisfying lunch at a fantastic local restaurant, enjoying authentic regional flavors.

14:00 Begin our smooth journey back to the capital. The tour officially concludes upon your safe arrival in Hanoi, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the wild.
