When is the best time to visit Ha Giang?

Ha Giang is attractive throughout the year. Peach and plum blossoms appear around Lunar New Year; buckwheat flowers commonly bloom from October to December; red silk-cotton flowers appear around March; and mustard flowers bloom in winter. The warmer period from April to September is particularly suitable for SUP and kayaking on the Nho Que River.

What is the minimum age?

Umove Adventure recommends this program for children aged 10 and above when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Can I join as a solo traveller?

Yes. Solo travellers may join. The FAQ on the source page states that eight participants are required for a departure, although the tour snapshot lists a minimum of five. Confirmation is therefore subject to the final operating group size.

Can I request a private room at homestay?

Yes. A private room may be arranged upon prior request, subject to availability. A single supplement may apply. Please confirm your request with Umove Adventure when booking.

Can I postpone or cancel the tour?

Depending on how far in advance you cancel or postpone compared to the departure date, you may incur a fee. If you wish to change your departure date or switch to another tour, Umove Adventure will adjust the date for you and may charge a fee (or not). For details, please refer to our cancellation policy.

Can vegetarian or special dietary meals be arranged?

You should advise Umove Adventure of vegetarian, allergy-related or other dietary requirements before booking. We will check what can be provided on this remote mountain itinerary and confirm the available arrangements.
