4. Notes on the SUP paddling route

● On the first day, we will start paddling from Hien Luong Port to Heaven Cape, covering a distance of 7-8 km. On the second day, we will paddle approximately 8 km from Heaven Cape to Thung Nai. Depending on the time of year, we may paddle with the wind or slightly against it.

● Before we begin paddling, the guide will instruct us on how to paddle, along with safety guidelines and route information. You must wear life jackets and attach the leash to your SUP properly. For first-time paddlers, it is recommended not to stand on the SUP right at the start. After about 1-2 km, if you feel more comfortable and confident in the water, you can begin standing to paddle.

● While paddling on the lake, be careful to avoid obstacles like branches and rocks. Stay close to the shore and watch out for motorboats navigating the lake. We will have a motorboat escort throughout the paddling session.

● If you wish to stop paddling and take the boat, please inform the guide.

Note: If you are a strong swimmer and experienced paddler, you may remove your life jacket and secure it to your SUP, but you must not remove the leash.

5. Accommodation

● We will have dinner and spend the night at a small resort on Paradise Island. The resort features a swimming pool, restaurant, café, and beautiful lake views. We will sleep in the resort’s communal stilt house, which is equipped with comfortable bedding and mosquito nets.

6. Food & Drinks

● Lunch will be served at local restaurants and homestays, offering a variety of local dishes such as steamed or grilled fish, chicken, and sautéed or boiled vegetables.

● If you have dietary restrictions or require vegetarian meals, please inform the UA operations team in advance so we can prepare suitable food for you. In cases where we cannot meet special dietary requests (due to health, medical, or religious reasons), we suggest that you prepare your own food to bring along.

● Drinks will be provided on the vehicle and during paddling. Umove Adventure encourages guests to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to refill from our large containers.

● Alcoholic beverages are not permitted while paddling on the SUP, kayak, or during trekking. Alcohol and soft drinks are not included in the meals.

7. Protecting the environment together

● Umove Adventure supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây

● In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.

8. Medical assistance

● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.

● In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
