Itinerary

08:00 - Tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel to go to Co Ong area.

08:30 - Starting the journey of discovery by walking into the primeval forest. During the trip, you will admire the wild beauty of the old forest, where the diverse ecosystem changes with altitude. Interesting moments will come when you unexpectedly meet rare animals such as long-tailed monkeys, black squirrels, monitor lizards, etc.

10:15 - Arriving at the top of Chua Mountain, with an altitude of more than 500m, you will be immersed in the misty mist and admire a vast sea and the entire beautiful island.

11:45 - Having a picnic lunch at the eco-hut.

14:00 - After lunch, you continue walking through 3 km of forest road to return to the Environmental Education Center. Here, you will visit the Interpretation Room and the Flora and Fauna Specimens Exhibition Area to learn more about the rich ecosystem of this land.

17:00 - At the end of the exploration journey, the tour guide will take you back to the hotel, ending a day full of experiences and unforgettable memories.

Difficulty Level (6/10): Most people can participate in the tour, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is 2 days generally. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day to do the trek with the quite easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and rest as well.

● The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour. Hence the customer is asked to read and sign the Exclude all Liability form before departing. Find the form below and read it carefully.

4. Notes on tour activities:

● The activities on the tour are of moderate intensity and do not require great physical strength. Children from 10 years old can participate.

5. Food & Beverages

● Picnic lunch on the tour includes rice, meat, vegetables and fruit for dessert. If you are allergic to any food, please let us know when registering for the tour.

6. Protecting the environment together

● In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.

7. Medical assistance

● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 

● The tour guide will carry a basic first aid kit. If you have any medical problems that require medication, you should bring your own medication.

1. When is the best time to join this tour?

The best time to visit Con Dao is from March to September, when the weather is most favorable.

 

2. What is the minimum age for children to join the tour?

This tour is suitable for children aged 10 and above, as long as they are accompanied by parents or guardians.

 

3. Can I join this tour if I have no trekking experience?

Yes! This tour features moderate-level trekking, so even if you have no prior experience, you can still participate.

 

4. Can I join this tour if I am traveling alone?

Yes, this is a group tour, so solo travelers are welcome. However, the tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, we will notify you 2-4 weeks before departure, allowing you to either reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.

 

5. How much is the deposit? When is the remaining balance due?

When registering for the tour, customers must pay a 50% deposit via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay. The remaining 50% must be paid at least one day before departure, also via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay. 

UA will not confirm the booking until the deposit for the tour has been received.

 

6. Can I postpone or cancel my tour before departure?

Cancellation or rescheduling fees depend on how far in advance the request is made. If you wish to change your departure date or switch to a different tour, Umove Adventure will accommodate the request, subject to availability and possible fees. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details.

 

7. Can the tour accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian meals)?

Yes, but you must inform Umove Adventure at the time of booking about any dietary restrictions. We will check whether the destinations on the tour can accommodate your needs and notify you accordingly. In most cases, vegetarian meal options are available.
