Tour overview

Ta Lien Peak, standing at 2,996 meters above sea level, is the sixth highest mountain in Vietnam. It is located in Ta Leng Commune, Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province. The beauty of Ta Lien Son lies in its diverse primeval vegetation, with lush ancient trees covered in moss and ferns. The path is “carpeted” with pure white camellia flowers, bright red maple leaves, interspersed with green moss, and vibrant rhododendron flowers scattered along the way. Thick vines cling tightly to the rocks, resembling the tentacles of some strange creature, ready to engulf any adventurer. From the summit, you can clearly see the expansive and beautiful Lai Chau City, shrouded in a misty veil, surrounded by majestic mountains and forests.

Highlight

  • Trekking through ancient moss-covered forests
  • Sleeping at the Night Shed amidst the wild nature

11:00 - After a 7km moving by motorbike taxi from the village, we will reach the forest edge, take a short rest, and start the trekking journey.

12:00 - Having lunch along the way, then continuing to trek through the primary forest to the overnight hut.

17:30 - Arriving at the overnight shed at an altitude of 2600m, just as the sunset begins. We will store our gear and freshen up. You can relax or assist the porters in cooking dinner, or take a walk and enjoy the magical sunset from the hut.
