Itinerary
1st day: Hue - Bach Ma National Park

08:00 - Departing for Bach Ma National Park. Upon arrival, we will visit the information center of the park to learn about the flora and fauna and the tour routes within Bach Ma National Park. The guide will share skills for walking in the forest. We will continue by car to the hiking starting point. We will follow the trail to reach Do Quyen Waterfall, which is over 300 meters high and one of the wonders of Bach Ma. Enjoying a refreshing dip in the cool stream. Having a picnic lunch by the stream.

14:00 - Coming back to the trail, a vehicle will pick us up to the camping area to receive our tents. The remaining time in the afternoon will be spent hiking to the mountain peak, crossing through the naturally scattered vegetation characteristic of tropical forests at different elevations. If we are lucky, we may have the chance to see large black squirrels or the queens of the forest: the brown-legged langur leaping among the large trees. Reaching the summit of Bach Ma at an altitude of over 1,400 meters at sunset will be a wonderful moment to admire the breathtaking natural scenery gifted by Bach Ma.

18:00 - As the sun sets, we will walk down to KM 0, where the vehicle will take us back to the resting area.

17:00 - Having dinner at a restaurant housed in a building constructed during the French colonial period in the 1930s-1940s. Having a campfire before bedtime.

2nd day: Bach Ma National Park - Hue

Waking up early to catch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast in nature. After breakfast, we will continue our journey to explore the natural beauty of Bach Ma. Hike along the Do Quyen Trail to reach Ngu Ho – five beautiful, pure, and pristine lakes.

Continuing along the path in the forest, passing through a medicinal plant garden, we will be introduced to valuable medicinal plants and the world of insects here. Leaving the trail, a vehicle will pick us up to take us to our lunch spot.

After lunch, we will return to Hue by vehicle.

* If it’s a private tour, the vehicle can take you to Da Nang or Hoi An.

Difficulty Level (5/10): Most people can participate in the tour, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is generally 2 days. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day to do the trek with the relatively easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and rest as well.

● The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour. 5. Medical assistance

● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 

● We only provide first aid during the tour and do not provide any oral medication so if you have any health problems that require precautionary medication please bring your own.

2. What age do children need to be to participate in this tour?

This tour is suitable for children aged 12 and older, traveling with parents or adults.

 

3. Can I join this program if I have no trekking experience?

This is an outing with a difficulty level of 5 out of 10, suitable for most people, including those without much trekking experience. Even if you have never been trekking before, you can still join.

 

4. Can I participate in this tour if I go alone?

This is a group tour, so you can join the tour alone. However, the minimum number of participants for the tour to depart is 6 people. If the minimum number is not reached, UA will inform you at least one week in advance so you can decide to change your departure date or get a refund for your deposit.

 

5. How much deposit do I need to pay when registering? When will the remaining amount be paid?

When registering for the tour, customers must pay a deposit of 50% via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than one day before the departure date, also via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay.  

UA will not confirm the booking until the deposit for the tour is received.

 

6. If I am vegetarian (or have a dietary restriction), can the tour accommodate this?

You will need to inform Umove Adventure about your vegetarian or dietary needs before booking the tour. We will check if the destination can meet those needs and inform you accordingly. Typically, Umove Adventure will have vegetarian options available depending on the tour location.

 

7. What camping equipment will Umove Adventure provide on this tour?

8. Can I bring my pet (dog/cat) with me?

Umove Adventure does not organize tours specifically for customers bringing pets, so bringing a pet will depend on the agreement of other passengers on the tour. If you wish to bring a pet, Umove Adventure will ask everyone on the tour for their consent, and you will be fully responsible for maintaining cleanliness and the safety of your pet.

 

9. Will I have to pay extra if I want a private tent?

Typically, for group tours (if you are going alone), Umove Adventure will pair travelers of the same gender to share a tent. For a private tent request, depending on the time of departure and if we have private tents available, Umove Adventure is ready to arrange a private tent for you at no extra charge. If we do not have enough tents and need to rent more, there will be an additional fee (which will be communicated to you at the time of booking).

 

10. What are the restroom arrangements during the journey?

A pit toilet will be used during trips deep into the forest. The ranger will arrange a discreet location to ensure your privacy. Bathing will depend on the water source in the forest or the time of year. If the destination has abundant water, the accompanying ranger can collect water for everyone to bathe.

 

11. Is there mobile phone signal at the campsite?

You can catch a mobile signal along the exploration route in Bach Ma National Park.

 

12. Can I postpone/cancel the tour before the departure date?

Depending on how far in advance you cancel or postpone relative to the departure date, you may have to pay a fee. If you want to change your departure date or switch to another tour, Umove Adventure will assist you in rescheduling and may charge a fee (or not).
