Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Noi - Glamping Dao Hoa Island

07:30 Get on the bus departing to Thach That. After 45 minutes of driving, we will reach the Glamping Dao Hoa Island where we prepare for exciting trekking to Vua Ba peak

08:45 Start trekking to Vua Ba peak which is 1050m high. This trek has many quite short slope parts which are located in alternating low-flat peaks. From the height of 700m above, the temperature must have been lower than the bottom of the mountain

11:15 Reach the peak. Take pictures and go sightseeing with 360 degrees of the frame.  One side is Hoa Binh and the other side is Ha Noi.  On clear days we will see Hoa Binh Lake. Picnic lunch at the peak and take a rest before trekking back to the bottom.

13:00 Trekking back to the Glamping Dao Hoa Island. In the summer, we can swim in the Ngoc Stream on the way back.

16:00 At the Glamping area, we can paddle the SUP and have a bath in the lake or in the swimming pool.

17:30 Chill-out time and watch the sunset with cold drinks and cold cuts. We will enjoy the melodious and charming background with friends while seeing the sun gradually going down behind the Vua Ba and Nam Vien peaks.

18:30 Get on the bus to go back 

19:30 Finish the tour once you get back to Ha Noi.

Difficulty of the activity

Difficulty Level (5/10): Most people can participate, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is generally 2 days. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day to do the trek with the relatively easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of time to take photos and rest as well.

  1.     Trekking Notes.
  • Trekking to the peak is not difficult. There are some parts which constantly slope from the height of 100m to 200m.
  • In summer, the temperature at the bottom of the mountain is relatively high, but from the height of 700m above it is significantly reduced and cloudy at peak often.
  • Because of the soil and quite a high slope route, if it is rainy, Umove Adventure will have alternative plans or different activities before starting. Postponed plan for trekking is also implemented depending on weather conditions.
  1.   Equipment:
  • Read carefully the gear list that Umove Adventure recommends in order to have the best preparation for the trip
  • Umove Adventure recommends bringing your own backpack which weighs below 2kg. Prepare a 10-liter backpack to carry water bottles, food, and personal items. Clothes to change after trekking or SUP paddling will be stored in the Glamping site before trekking.
  1. Food and drink
  • Picnic lunch is a basic meal such as sandwiches or sticky rice and dessert is fresh fruits.
  • Drinking water is supplied on the bus and when trekking. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we recommend that you bring a water bottle (reusable type) to refill water from the large drum provided by us.
  1.   Protecting the environment together 
  • Umove Adventure supports and practices the Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activity. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace session here
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination.
  1.     Medical alert
  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should visit your doctor before deciding to join the trip. A basic first-aid bag will be carried by the tour guide. If you have health problems that require preventive medicine, please prepare for your own.
  • In any case, if you swim, you have to wear a life jacket.
