Tour overview

Ta Lien Son rises to 2,996 metres above sea level and is Vietnam’s sixth-highest mountain. Located in Ta Leng Commune, Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province, the mountain is renowned for its exceptionally rich old-growth forest. Ancient trees draped in moss and ferns form a dramatic canopy, while white camellia petals, red maple leaves and colourful rhododendrons cover parts of the trail in season. Twisting vines and moss-covered rocks give the forest an almost primeval character. From higher ground, trekkers may enjoy misty views over Lai Chau City and the surrounding mountain ranges.
